Does NivShiksha use AI on children’s data?

Accepted Answer

No. NivShiksha uses a transparent, rules-based adaptive engine — not artificial intelligence or machine learning. There is no AI profiling or behavioural monitoring of children. Every personalization decision follows clear, auditable rules (mastery tracking and weak-topic selection), and we deliberately avoid machine-learning models on children’s data by design, in line with India’s DPDP Act 2023. This keeps your child’s learning private, predictable, and safe.

How is this different from tuition or coaching classes?

Unlike coaching classes, NivShiksha is available 24/7 on your phone or tablet. It adapts to each child individually — focusing more on topics they struggle with. It costs a fraction of typical tuition fees, and keeps kids motivated with XP points, levels, and streaks instead of pressure.

My child is in Grade 2. Is the app suitable for young children?

Absolutely. The app is designed with age-appropriate content for every class from 1 to 8. For younger children, lessons use simple language, visual explanations, and engaging animations. The difficulty scales with the grade, so a Class 2 student sees very different content from a Class 7 student.

Just sign up and your child gets 14 days to explore the app — first 2 chapters in each subject, 20 practice questions per day, full gamification (XP, badges, streaks), and basic statistics. Mock tests and competition access are available on paid plans. After the trial, you choose a plan or stop — no automatic charges.

The Basic plan is ₹1,499/year (about ₹124/month) and includes unlimited learning and practice across all chapters and all 4 subjects — focused purely on learning, with no exams. The Premium plan is ₹2,249/year (about ₹187/month) and adds unlimited mock tests plus School & State championship access. National championships are open to students who qualify, for a separate per-event entry fee. Each subscription is activated for one student for their current grade for that academic year, and covers all 4 subjects for that grade — not all grades 1–8.
